My curious nature drives me to uncover the details that really make rooms shine, dishes explode with flavor upon every bite, improve family decisions (why do babies have to grow out of the cute stuff so fast?!), and overall find more joy in the details around us.

I dreamt of being a journalist growing up, but life (and a love of numbers) put me on the path of startup finance after college. While working a full-time job, I launched my first blog in 2014 called Darling Down South.
Over the course of a decade, I've had the privilege to work with some of the biggest national brands, create stories with amazing creators, launch two separate e-commerce sites, launch (and scale back) a startup, and explore all the details of creative life that I was initially drawn to.
